Just never enough space!
I struggle with trying to make the house always looking put together and having the house kid friendly. I am coming to the realization that you can’t have both. Do I want my kids to live in a museum of a home where all the decor coordinates just right and every piece of furniture is an heirloom piece, or do I want them to live in a home that is clean and comfortable and welcoming. I’m deciding it’s going to be the latter. This is what it looked like at my house today for a solid hour…
An hour may not seem like much to some…but to a mother of three BOYS…this is unbelievable.
Does this look like the face of boys that care whether or not this table matches the home decor? I’m not going to care either. It gives them room to draw, do puzzles and play with their action figures. We’ve got a long summer ahead of us and I want to make sure they have plenty of space to be busy.
